Raw Walnut Tacos

Walnut Tacos Ingredients Raw Tacos

Original Recipe Found in Add Life Cookbook by Sheri Yohe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ½ cups of raw walnuts, soaked for 1-2 hours & dehydrated or put in the oven to dry
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1-2 teaspoons of taco seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons of coconut aminos or other soy sauce
  • ¾ teaspoon of coriander, ground
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of cumin, ground

PREPARATION

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse on and off until the consistency looks like ground burger. Do not over-process. Texture should be coarse, not fine.
  2. Serve with romaine lettuce leaves, topped with tomatoes, sliced avocado or guacamole, olives, or any vegetables of your choice and cheese sauce.
  3. Note: After soaking nuts, drain and dry before use.
